Staff Officer finance Business Partner

The role

• Manage grants, payments and ensuring compliance with policies.
• Provide procurement advice and develop financial procedures to ensure value for money.
• Oversee finances, prepare annual accounts, and ensure adherence to standards.
• Prepare management accounts, liaise with auditors, and implement recommendations.
• Support senior management with corporate planning and operational alignment.
• Maintain professionalism, foster stakeholder trust, and ensure positive partnerships.
• Promote collaboration, adhere to policies, and represent the organisation effectively.

The Person

As the successful candidate you will have the following background and experience:

Essential:

• Candidates must be a part-qualified member of one of the professional bodies.
• OR
• A Fully Qualified Accounting Technician
• Alongside practical experience in the following areas:
• Management of month end closure
• Internal or external audit processes
• Budget management
