Assistant Accountant

MCS Group is delighted to be partnering with a professional services firm based in Belfast to recruit for an Assistant Accountant on a full time, permanent basis

Job Duties Include:

• Overseeing financial processes including accounts payable, production of statutory accounts, month end & balance sheet analysis
• Prepare and maintain financial statements
• Manage financial processes
• Reconcile bank statements
• Assist in preparation of budgets and financial plans
• Assist with year end audit

What you need to succeed?

• 5+ years working in a finance function
• Strong knowledge of financial services and principles
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Strong IT skills
