Job Title: Data & MI Analyst
Location: Hybrid (Flexible working model)
Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum

VANRATH are recruiting on behalf of a large and well-established company for a Data & MI Analyst to join their dynamic team. Role Overview:
As a Data & MI Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in collecting, analysing, and auditing data sets to identify trends and provide valuable management information. This information will be used to improve operational, business, and marketing practices for both the company and its clients. You will present insights in accessible formats like graphs, charts, tables, and reports, ensuring data is easily understood by all stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Heads of Departments, Business Support functions (including marketing, IT, and finance), and clients to understand data needs and provide tailored insights.
  • Work with specific practice areas to ensure data integrity by regularly auditing and maintaining data cleanliness for large public and private sector clients.
  • Perform statistical analysis of data from various sources to identify trends and insights.
  • Use data visualisation tools to create clear and accessible graphs, diagrams, and charts.
  • Prepare and present reports to management or clients.
  • Interpret data to identify opportunities for service improvements and efficiencies for the firm and clients.
  • Provide training and tools for teams to access and utilise data effectively.
  • Build and maintain dashboards for real-time monitoring of firm and client KPIs/metrics.
  • Continuously research and implement innovative ways to make use of data.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience as a Data or MI Analyst, ideally within a professional services organisation.
  • Strong technical expertise in data models, database design, development, data mining, and segmentation techniques.
  • Knowledge and experience using reporting packages.
  • Strong understanding of statistics and experience with statistical analysis tools.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to create detailed reports, presentations, and deliver actionable insights.
  • Familiarity with querying, report writing, and presenting findings.
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) to build effective relationships with colleagues and clients at all levels.
