Technical Business - On prem (D365)

MCS Group is partnering up with a multi-national Managed Service Provider with a focus on the North and the South of Ireland, as they seek to add a Technical Business Analyst/Functional D365 Consultant to their growing team.

About the Role: We are looking for a proactive Microsoft Dynamics 365 Functional Consultant with expertise in on-premises deployments to deliver tailored CRM solutions that drive business transformation. This role involves working closely with clients to understand their requirements and configuring Dynamics 365 to meet their on-premises infrastructure needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to gather and analyse business requirements for on-premises Dynamics 365 implementations.

• Configure and customise Dynamics 365 Sales, Customer Service, and Marketing modules within on-premises environments to align with client objectives.

• Develop and document functional designs and solution specifications specific to on-premises deployments.

• Lead workshops and training sessions to ensure successful user adoption of on-premises solutions.

• Work closely with technical teams to translate functional requirements into effective on-premises technical solutions.

• Identify opportunities to leverage out-of-the-box features to maximise efficiency while maintaining on-premises infrastructure integrity.

• Provide ongoing support and enhancements for on-premises implementations.

• Assist in the development of project documentation, including user guides and process documentation for on-premises solutions.

• Contribute to pre-sales activities by preparing solution demonstrations and assisting with proposals focused on on-premises deployments.

• Stay current on Dynamics 365 on-premises and Power Platform updates to provide clients with innovative, secure, and scalable solutions.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proven experience implementing and configuring Microsoft Dynamics 365 in on-premises environments.

• Strong understanding of business processes and how they translate into technical solutions.

• Hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 Sales, Customer Service, and Marketing modules in on-premises setups.

• Knowledge of infrastructure requirements, security considerations, and maintenance for on-premises deployments.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing client needs.
