Senior NPI Engineer

MCS Group is proud to be partnered with a forward thinking, innovative manufacturing company to join their successful engineering team.

As a Senior NPI Engineer, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management and coordination of New Product Introduction. You will focus on ensuring a seamless transfer of projects into production.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple projects, ensuring effective planning, execution, and delivery.
• Translate customer drawings and specifications into manufacturing data
• Develop BOM and product structures
• Create operator build instructions and process documentation for production teams
• Assign process times to maximise productivity
• Provide technical support for customisation of existing product designs and build-to-print products.
• Ensure accurate and up-to-date record-keeping of project and production data.
• Participate in contract reviews, addressing all NPI engineering and commercial considerations.
• Offer practical support in model and pre-production builds as required by the business
• Co-ordinate and implement engineering change notices on active production lines.

Essential Criteria

• 5+ Years experience in an engineering manufacturing environment
• Experience with mechanical and electrical systems
• Project Management experience
