Field Service Engineer

Our client is a leading provider of HVAC solutions, offering a wide range of market leading products for the control of services within any building environment.

Due to continued business expansion, they are looking for an additional Service Engineer to carry out maintenance and commissioning work. The successful Service Engineer will gain exposure to a wide range of projects.

Applications will be considered from entry level candidates with a willingness to learn, through to senior level engineers.

Responsibilities:

• Preventative maintenance to BMS systems and associated field equipment on key sites
• Fault finding and repair of BMS/control issues in a quick and effective manner
• Preparation of detailed reports on work carried out and any remedial action required.
• Preparation of Risk Assessments and Method Statements prior to carrying out work
• Develop and maintain customer relations to a high level
• Interrogation and modification of BMS programs
• Continual development of client systems to ensure continued energy savings

Criteria:

• Minimum of ONC, BTEC in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or other appropriate job related experience
• Computer literate with a working knowledge of MS Word & Excel
• Ability to read and understand electrical control panel drawings
• Full clean driving license
• Ability to work on own initiative with minimum supervision
