VANRATH are delighted to present an exclusive opportunity for an experienced Chartered Accountant to join a rapidly growing and dynamic firm. This role offers a fantastic chance for an ambitious, career-driven professional to contribute to a diverse range of projects, working across both Northern Ireland and Ireland, with occasional travel to the UK. The firm is looking for someone who thrives in a vibrant culture, has excellent attention to detail, and is eager to develop their skills in areas such as R&D and grant funding schemes. If you are looking to take your career to the next level and make a significant impact, this could be the ideal role for you.

What’s in it for you?

  • Career Growth: An excellent opportunity to enhance your career in a fast-paced environment, with substantial opportunities for advancement.
  • Vibrant, Energetic Culture: Work in a dynamic, supportive office environment with a strong team spirit and a culture of collaboration and professional development.
  • Attractive Compensation: Competitive salary with a performance-based bonus structure, rewarding your hard work and contribution.
  • Work-Life Balance: Enjoy a balanced work schedule with standard hours of 8-5 and a half-day on Fridays, giving you time to recharge and focus on personal pursuits.
  • Networking & Experience: This role offers the opportunity to work across Northern Ireland, Ireland, and occasionally the UK, allowing you to broaden your professional experience and network.

What you will do:

  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, offering strategic insights to support their business goals.
  • Diverse Responsibilities: Work across a wide range of areas, including audit, corporate finance, tax, and potentially R&D tax relief and grant funding schemes.
  • Meticulous Attention to Detail: Manage complex financial data with precision, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and producing accurate financial statements and tax returns.
  • Identify Opportunities for Clients: Work closely with clients to understand their needs, identify potential opportunities for further funding or value-added services, and help drive their business growth.
  • Collaborative Teamwork: Contribute to team projects and deliver high-quality service to clients, while fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.

What you will need:

  • Qualifications & Experience: A qualified Chartered Accountant with experience in audit, corporate finance, tax, or similar areas. Prior experience in R&D tax and grant funding schemes would be a plus but is not essential.
  • Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to financial management, ensuring all numbers and processes are accurate and compliant with industry standards.
  • Strong Client-Facing Skills: Exceptional communication and relationship-building abilities, with a focus on understanding clients' needs and offering valuable solutions.
  • Commercial Insight: A solid understanding of business operations, with the ability to spot opportunities for clients to access further funding or improve efficiency.
  • Drive for Success: A motivated, self-driven individual who is passionate about delivering high-quality work and continuously developing professionally.
  • Flexibility & Travel: Although the role is primarily office-based, you should be open to occasional travel to the UK for client meetings and site visits.
