What you will do:
- Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring you understand their commercial goals and help them access the funding and grants that support their growth.
- R&D and Grant Funding: Play a key role in managing the R&D tax relief claims process, as well as UK government grant funding schemes, ensuring clients maximise the available opportunities.
- Attention to Detail: You’ll be responsible for ensuring meticulous attention to detail in the numbers for drawdowns on grants and funding, ensuring compliance with the relevant guidelines and regulations.
- Identify Further Opportunities: Work closely with clients to understand their business needs, uncovering potential for further funding opportunities and fostering long-term relationships.
- Collaboration: Work as part of a dynamic team, collaborating with colleagues to manage projects and deliver exceptional client service across Northern Ireland, Ireland, and the UK.
What you will need:
- Qualifications: A newly qualified chartered accountant with experience in audit, corporate finance, or tax – all backgrounds will be considered.
- Client Relationship Skills: You should have a natural ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, with a keen interest in understanding their business needs and helping them navigate funding opportunities.
- Meticulous Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail is essential when managing funding and grants, particularly in relation to drawdowns and ensuring accuracy.
- Commercial Mindset: You’ll need the ability to understand the commercial relationship and identify potential funding opportunities for clients.
- Desire to Excel: This role requires a driven individual who is passionate about their work and has a strong desire to excel in their career.
- Flexibility & Travel: While the role is primarily based in the office, you’ll occasionally travel to the UK as part of client-facing activities.
