Business Consultant

MCS Group is excited to collaborate with an independent consultancy, established over a decade ago, in their search for a Senior Consultant to oversee the business case division consulting contracts. The client is a true innovator, working primarily with the community, voluntary, and public sectors.

The Role

As the Senior Consultant, you will take the lead in delivering consulting contracts, managing a team of associate consultants, ensuring that all deadlines are met and client requirements are adhered to. Your work will have a lasting impact on the people, organisations, and communities driving social change. You will collaborate closely with clients in the public and voluntary sectors, managing the development and submission of large funding bids.

The Responsibilities

• Overseeing and managing consulting projects, ensuring they are delivered efficiently, within budget, and according to the client’s needs.
• Building and maintaining client relationships.
• Producing high-quality reports, representing the company, and ensuring client satisfaction.
• Leading and taking responsibility for the successful completion of consulting projects.

What You’ll Need

• BSc Hons in a relevant discipline

• Experience in a consultancy role or in engaging with consultants.
• Experience working within the public or voluntary sectors.
• Strong background in writing and submitting large funding bids.
• Proven ability to lead the delivery of high-quality consultancy services, including facilitating meetings, consultations, data analysis, report writing, and client management.
• Skilled at building and maintaining strong client relationships.
