Finance Officer

Hays are delighted to be working with an amazing charity based in Belfast City Centre to recruit for a Finance Officer for a 6 month contract.

Your new role

• Monthly invoicing in a timely and accurate manner.
• Maintenance and reconciliation of accounts on system.
• Allocations of receipts / payments to correct accounts on system.
• Managing queries within the department from both internal and external customers and clients.
• Completion of the monthly balance sheet and account reconciliations.
• Journal preparation and input to the financial systems.
• Assisting the Senior Finance Officer with credit control across the organisation.
• Assisting with preparation of departmental monthly reports.

What you'll need to succeed
A qualification in a business / accountancy equivalent to Accounting Technician (or above) AND one years’ experience working in a Finance function;
OR
Two years’ experience working in a finance function.
