Our client in the Craigavon Area seeks a Temporary On-going Admin Assistant in their Validation Team
This position is full-time Monday-Friday 9-5
Rate of pay is £11.67 per hour
Duties include:
1. To undertake a range of admin support duties to assist in validation of outpatient review backlog waiting lists.
2. Provide administrative support using a range of technology and systems (PAS, Patient Centre, NIECR and computerised databases), printing letters and extracting information from waiting lists.
3. To follow regional guidance in recording data validation on PAS, sending letters to patients and recording comments on waiting lists.
4. To monitor and be responsible for the recording process removing patients from waiting lists correctly, recording the reason for the removal identified. When a patient is discharged from a waiting list, correspondence must be sent to the GP
and Patient/Proxy to confirm removal reason to provide evidence of a complete audit trail on the patients’ record.
Essential Criteria:
- 5 GCSE’s (Grades A – C) or equivalent/comparable including Mathematics and English Language*.
*Applicants must list all subjects, grades and level attained
- 2 years’ experience in each of the following:
Working in a busy office environment providing a range of administrative support;
Experience of using Patient Administrative System (PAS)
Experience in the use of Microsoft Office products including Word and Excel or equivalent.
