Hays are recruiting on behalf of a Northern Ireland based Civil Engineering and construction company for a Site Engineer on a permanent basis to work as part of their continuously growing, highly successful civil engineering team. With a strong pipeline of work ranging from water infrastructure to public realm regeneration, you can expect a wide base of knowledge and professional experience at your disposal.
Your new role
Your new role will be as Civil Site Engineer across civil engineering schemes based initially in Greater Belfast, Co. Antrim and South Down.
You will play a major role as the Site Engineer in upcoming projects and will be responsible for setting out duties, supervising safety, site works supervision, keeping site records and undertaking quality control procedures.
As the Site Engineer, you will be tasked with carrying out surveying duties using a total station, laser level and GPS to a high and efficient level. In addition to this you will be trusted to maintain quality control and ensure the correct health and safety regulations are adhered to.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, previous experience as a Site Engineer in the civil engineering sector is essential with some experience in supervision of site personnel. With sites across NI, you must be flexible to travel where required, with initial projects based in Greater Belfast, Antrim and South Down.
You must have a valid CSR, CSCS, SSSTS or SMSTS qualification alongside a degree in construction engineering & management or civil engineering.
