Role Description

This is a full-time, permanent with our client, a top employer in the Belfast Metropolitan Area. The Street Works Coordinator will coordinate and mage the street works activities associated with maintenance, connections and network development projects.

The successful person will coordinate and manage street works activities related to asset maintenance, new connections, and network development projects. Ensure compliance with operational and regulatory requirements, while maintaining effective communication with key stakeholders such as the Department of Infrastructure. The role involves managing notices, permits, updates, and addressing defects, all while leading a small team to ensure smooth operations and service excellence.

Criteria:

· 5 GCSEs (or equivalent), including Maths and English.

· At least 12 months of experience coordinating street works using Symology and applying for permits.

· Strong understanding of The Street Works (Northern Ireland) Order 1995.

· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.

· Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.

· Eligible to work in the UK on a full time, permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities:

· Lead a team to efficiently plan connections and asset maintenance for customers.

· Motivate and mentor the team to enhance productivity and customer experience.

· Track work volumes and ensure KPIs are met.

· Provide clear targets and assist with training, feedback, and development.

· Manage escalated complaints and assist in implementing new procedures.

· Maintain accurate asset data and ensure compliance with service standards.

· Support other areas within the Contact Centre and Support Services as needed.

Hours: A Full-Time position 37 hours per week. 8.30am-5pm Mon-Thurs and a 4.30pm finish on Friday.

Starting salary £27,000. Company bonus scheme of 6%-9% per annum.
