Human Resources Assistant based in Ballynahinch.
Hybrid role, Tuesday work in the office, Thursday is rota based in the office and then the remaining days are Working From home
£12.55 per hour, plus paid holiday hours and weekly payment of wages the week after your working week.
Duration is until 31/3/25 with review to extend
ROLE
To provide clerical and administrative support
within the Human Resources Unit ensuring that an efficient, effective and
responsive service is maintained at all times. The post-holder may be allocated
a specific area of responsibility but will be required to provide support
across the entire HR Function including staff development, equality,
recruitment and selection and employee relations.
MAIN DUTIES
AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Ø
Process
and respond to employment enquiries as required.
Ø
Maintain
appropriate HR records and databases (manual and electronic) and provide
reports as required.
Ø
Provide
administrative and clerical support to HR meetings and collate and prepare
information as a when required.
Ø
Provide
advice and support to managers on a range of non-complex HR issues,
including;
Ø Annual Leave
Ø Special Leave
Ø Recruitment &
Selection Exercises
Ø Terms &
Conditions of service
Ø Contracts of
employment etc;
Ø
Ø
Assist
in the provision of an effective and efficient recruitment service ensuring
that all appropriate checks and documentation are completed in line with
College policy.
Filing
of HR documentation including the organisation of manual filing facilities.
Ø
Provide
administrative support to the HR Team.
CRITERIA
1.
A minimum of 5 GCSE’s, grade A-C or equivalent, including
English Language and Maths
2.
A minimum of 2 years’ relevant clerical or administration
experience.
3.
Experience of computerised management information
systems, data input and data retrieval.
4.
Demonstrate ability to work in a confidential environment.
5.
Demonstrate ability to develop effective working
relationships and work as part of a team.
6.
Demonstrate effective oral and written communication
skills.
Desirable Criteria
1.
Previous clerical or administration experience within an
HR / Personnel environment.
2.
Demonstrate an understanding of HR procedures and
standard practices.
