Requirements
The school runs a Foundational English Programme (FEP) specifically designed for international students in Grades 6-9 with limited proficiency in English. The FEP aims to accelerate learning in the core areas of listening, speaking, reading, and writing, equipping them to transition into mainstream classes as quickly as possible.
- Qualifications: Fully qualified with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Curriculum Experience: Preference will be given to teachers with relevant subject specific IB / US experience, as well as a clear track record of superior teaching in international school settings.
- Professional Growth: Evidence of continued professional development and a passion for staying updated with the latest educational practices.
- Creative Thinker: Ability to think strategically and creatively, with excellent communication skills.
- Team Player: Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment with the ability to be motivational, adaptable, inclusive and resilient.
- Inclusive Teaching: Experience with diverse student needs, particularly EAL learners.
Salary and Benefits
- Competitive Salary: SGD $6,000 to $7,606 per month (before tax), based on experience and qualifications.
- Housing Allowance: Between SGD $2,900 and $3,700 per month (based on family status).
- Health Insurance: Global coverage for the teacher and up to 2 dependents (spouse/children).
- Flight Allowance: Relocation and repatriation flights (subject to school policy).
- Shipping Allowance: Between SGD $2,400 and $4,800 (based on family status).
- Tuition Discounts: 100% tuition fee discount for the first child; 50% for the second. For teaching couples, full tuition discount for two children.
- Contract: 2-year contract, with the possibility for extension.
