Are you looking for a Contracts Manager role? Interested in working for a leading fit-out contractor?
VANRATH are recruiting a Contracts Manager to work on fit out projects for a leading contractor based in Armagh, Northern Ireland. Travel to site is required 1 or 2 days per week or fortnightly, depending on project requirements.

Client:
Our client is a leading contractor that specialises in the fitout sector. The business have been operating for decades and specialise in creating bespoke interiors within the entertainment, luxury hospitality and prime residential sectors.
Due to continued growth, the business have an excellent opportunity for a Contracts Manager to join them on a permanent basis.
Overview of Responsibilities:
As a Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day project tasks, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, managing project schedules and budgets, conducting inspections, and ensuring timely delivery of projects. The Contracts Manager will also handle logistics management and expediting.
Travel Requirements:
Depending on the allocation of projects, site travel may vary. Generally it will be 1 or 2 days per week / fortnight.
The Role:
- Lead a number of projects concurrently
- Liaise with Clients, Site Manager’s, Manufacturing and Logistics to ensure successful delivery of projects
- Develop & implement schedule of works from start to completion
- Organise & co-ordinate all project requirements e.g. materials, resources, logistics etc.
- Deliver all projects on time, within budget and of exceptional quality
- Identify subcontractors, as necessary
- Provide regulator progress updates and reports to management
- Ensure compliance of all necessary Health and Safety requirements
The Ideal Person:
- Degree qualified or other relevant qualifications
- Experience working on fit out projects
- Excellent leadership, planning and communication skills
- A successful track record of delivering projects on time, within budget and of excellent quality
- Great attention to detail, commercial acumen and cost control
- Excellent management skills
- Good IT Skills to enable flow of information between those involved in the project, particularly Microsoft Outlook
- Able to commute to Armagh on a daily basis
- Happy to travel to mainland UK when required (1 or 2 days per week / fortnightly)
