VANRATH are delighted to be working with a highly innovative organisation for the appointment of an immediate Management Accountant/Finance Manager. Reporting to the Director of Finance, the Management Accountant will be responsible for assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts including variance analysis. This is initially a fixed term contract until June 2025, however due to the growth plans within the organisation there is potential that this role will offer the opportunity to secure a permanent contract. The long term vision for this role, is to step into the Finance Manager role after a 12 - 18 month time frame.

To be considered for this role it is essential to be a Fully Qualified Accountant with management accounting experience, ideally within a manufacturing environment however additional industries will be considered.

About you

• Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
• Strong MS Excel skills
• Management Accounting experience
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Available immediately

What you’ll do

• Preparation of monthly management accounts
• Preparation of variance analysis to assist with decision making processes
• Preparation and input of journals for month end process and preparation of monthly back up schedules
• Project costings
• Assisting wider finance team when required
