Maintenance Plumber based in Dungannon with our Public Sector Client
£14.53 per hour, plus paid holiday hours and weekly payment of wages the week after your working week
37 1/2 hours each week, Monday - Thursday 8.15am - 4.30pm & Friday 8.15am - 3.30pm
Ongoing temporary contract
CRITERIA
1.
Working
knowledge and experience in the installation and maintenance of industrial
and/or commercial hot and cold water plant and plumbing distribution
systems.
Completed a recognised CITB Plumbing or
Mechanical Maintenance Fitter Apprenticeship
or equivalent approved training
AND
2.
In addition to his/her apprenticeship, the
applicant must hold a NVQ level 3 or equivalent City & Guilds Qualification
in Plumbing or Mechanical Maintenance Fitter together with a minimum of two
years post apprenticeship experience.
OR
Alternatively but in addition to his/her
apprenticeship, the applicant must hold a NVQ level 2 City & Guilds or
equivalent Qualification in Plumbing or Mechanical Maintenance Fitter (or
higher) together with a minimum of two years post apprenticeship
experience.
ROLE
The post
holder will be responsible for maintaining engineering equipment throughout the
estate in line with his / her core specialist skills and experience as and when
required
The post
holder will also be required to install,
maintain, service, fault find/diagnose, repair and reinstate into service,
(test as necessary) a range of complex plumbing, electrical and mechanical
equipment or replace buildings infrastructure as necessary.
The post holder
will be employed to work on equipment appropriate to their core skills. They
will however progressively be suitably trained to acquire elements of other
trades skills with the intention of reaching levels of flexibility and
competence to enable them to perform specific skill elements where appropriate.
To understand the workings of engineering services and systems. Ensuring that they
are maintained to a high standard and that all plant and equipment are utilised
in a safe and efficient manner.
Diagnose and repair faults and reinstate
into service, engineering installations and associated plant and equipment, for
example steam raising and distribution systems, hot and cold water systems
including electronically controlled sensor taps and adjustment of the embedded
software parameters, LPHW boilers, building management systems,
decontamination/sterilisation equipment, catering equipment and other
mechanical systems.
Install, maintain and repair a range of
(complex) electrical, mechanical, plumbing and other equipment following
appropriate training.
