Accounts Payable Specialist

MCS Group is delighted to be partnering exclusively with a leading innovative organisation based in Mullusk to recruit for an Accounts Payable Specialist on a full time, permanent basis.

Your New Role:

This role will be majority accounts payable however this role needs someone to take ownership and have strong communication across the office with some office management duties.

Reporting to the Divisional Controller, job duties include:

• Invoice Processing & Payment Processing
  • Review and enter invoices into the accounting system and adhere to approval process.
  • Ensure payments are made in accordance with agreed terms and deadlines.
• Vendor Relations:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for vendors regarding payment inquiries, discrepancies, and issue resolution.
• Reconciliation and Reporting:
  • Reconcile accounts payable ledger to ensure all payments and liabilities are accurately recorded.
  • Generate AP reports for management, including aging reports.
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes related to AP.
• Office Management:
  • Responsible for key holding of the premises (therefore being based onsite)
  • Managing office maintenance activities in collaboration with site leaders
  • Coordinating logistics for office-based events for customers and colleagues, ordering office consumables and any other items required for smooth running of the office

What You Need to Succeed?

• Previous accounts payable experience
• Effective communication and strong organisational skills
• Ability to work on your own initiative
• Strong IT Skills
