Senior Hardware Design Engineer

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Hardware Engineer to join their team.

You will:

• Design and develop equipment, processes, and systems that include, but are not limited to data networks, communications, and display
• Consult with research engineers or scientists and customer representatives to resolve design problems
• Lead the design, development, and testing of hardware for new products, focusing on digital, analog and mixed-signal circuit design
• Create high quality, reliable circuit designs using industry standard tools e.g. Altium.
• Oversee the creation of PCB layouts, ensuring signal integrity, power integrity and manufacturability.
• Conduct simulation and perform hands-on testing and troubleshooting of prototypes to validate designs.
• Lead the effort to validate hardware designs through debugging and interation, ensuring they meet performance, cost and quality targets

You will have:

• Degree in Electronics or a related engineering discipline.
• Experience in developing analogue and digital circuits.
• Experience in Schematic Capture.
• Experience in simulation for electronic design.
• Ability to mentor and coach junior engineers.
• 5+ years of experience in hardware design, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
• Extensive experience with hardware design tools e.g. Altium
• Solid understanding of electronics components e.g. microcontrollers, power supplies
