Management Accountant

Your new company

Hays Accountancy & Finance are seeking a qualified accountant to assist with our client's finance function, providing management accounts, variance analysis, leading a small team and reporting to the senior management team on a timely basis.

Your new role

• Timely and accurate preparation of monthly management accounts.
• Reconciliation and review of balance sheet accounts.
• Acting as a business partner to internal customers, addressing financial queries and providing trusted advice to support budget holders in achieving financial targets.
• Reviewing and refining end-to-end financial processes and controls to ensure best practices.
• Ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in the UK and ROI, such as VAT returns, government surveys, and company filings.

What you'll need to succeed

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Previous experience in industry or qualified by experience
• ERP experience desirable
• The ideal candidate will have previous experience within FMCG
