Engineering Project Manager

MCS Group is proud to be working with a leading manufacturing company based in County Monaghan to recruit a Engineering Project Manager.

As an Engineering Project Manager you will manage the execution of engineering project throughout the group and deliver them on time and within budget.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver on various engineering project
• Closely work with stakeholders, while keeping them updated on project progress, and any arising issues
• Resolve engineering problems by collecting information, researching & analysing, recommending solutions, preparing drawings, schematics and diagrams.
• Evaluate components, materials and suppliers, developing specifications and safety standards.
• Co-ordinate and organise internal teams and 3rd party labour for the execution of projects to a high standard.
• Ensure all parties adhere to the overall project plan throughout the project life cycle.
• Maintain project team accomplishments by communicating essential information, coordinating actions, obtaining expert input , reviewing open issues and action items, contributing information to team meetings and reports.
• Work closely with various sites in the group to ensure projects are implemented in a timely and efficient manner
• Source parts, liase and negotiate with suppliers
• Assist with engineering budgeting and cost analysis

Essential Criteria

• Degree in an engineering field (Mechanical/ Electrical)
• Project Management Experience
• Manufacturing industry experience
• Ability to analyse and troubleshoot
• A willingness to travel when required
