We are currently recruiting for a Contract Management Officer based in Belfast

Start date: Tuesday 7th January 2025

Location: Belfast - Goodwood House

Duration: 3-6 months with possible extension

Hours of work: 9 to 5; Monday to Friday. At present, two days in the office (Tuesday and Thursday) is required.

Rate of pay: £17.94 per hour

Main Duties:

This role will be within the Integr8 Business Case & Contract Management Project Team and the main duties are as follows:

• Supporting successful delivery and quality outcomes for the workstream within the programme timescale and scope, in line with respective project plans.

• Planning for and supporting contract management activities within the Programme.

• Contributing to the development of the procurement specification for outsourced payroll services from a contract management perspective and providing input to Programme procurement activities where required.

• Supporting programme/project governance arrangements for the workstream including input into the development of plans, identification of risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies and identifying how to manage these appropriately by suggesting mitigating actions or escalating as required.

• Working effectively within a small team to deliver a coherent approach across a number of contracts as well as remaining in line with wider strategic direction.

• Working collaboratively with other work streams across the wider programme to ensure that modern, flexible and integrated solutions are implemented.

Desirable Criteria:
Experience as a Contract Management Officer in public sector projects.

Essential Criteria:
- A Degree and 12 months experience

1. Excellent planning and organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines.

2. Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to build and maintain a network of colleagues and contacts in order to achieve progress on business objectives.

3. At least 2 years’ demonstrable experience of successfully delivering contract management support within a programme/project management environment.

4. Competent in the application of IT.

5. Proven ability to work on their own initiative to achieve business objectives.High level of personal drive and motivation in order to proactively deal with varied situations
