CORE HOURS: 35 Hours per week (Night Shift) 11:00pm – 6:00am Monday to Friday (Temporary)
MAIN PURPOSE: To undertake general clean down operative duties within the factories as required.

About The Role
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Take personal responsibility for safety, ensuring that you go home safe every day while training to become a flexible operative across a range of workstations to produce paving and walling products to the highest quality standard.
- Conduct the clean down of production plants and areas in a safe manner.
- Operate computer-controlled machine panels during the clean down process.
- Regularly inspect the plant during the clean down process, highlighting potential issues.
- Perform oiling/greasing on required areas of the machines.
- Assemble machines to be ready for production to begin on the next shift.
- Operate mobile plant as required in a safe manner.
- Maintain daily housekeeping standards to ensure a clean and tidy work area.
- Adhere to all Company Health and Safety policies at all times.
- Wear the correct company PPE while working in the plant and yard.
- Take responsibility for your own safety and that of your work colleagues.
- Operate machinery in a safe manner following pre-defined permit to work systems, Risk Assessments, and Method statements.
- Provide production support to other factories/departments as required.
- Act as an advocate for AG’s culture and values by demonstrating integrity, sustainability, customer care, wellbeing, and innovation in all aspects of your work and interactions with colleagues
- Perform any other duties assigned by supervisors/managers that are commensurate with the role.

Salary
£11.44 per hour
