Full-time (36 hours per week), hybrid role with flexible working arrangements (three office days per week, greater Belfast area, currently River House, city centre).

Job Purpose:
As a key member of the senior management team, the Business Development Manager will lead Nemstar’s growth. This role is pivotal in driving new customer acquisition, expanding existing accounts, and enhancing the overall business strategy. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mix of sales, technical, and business acumen.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development: Acquire new customers and expand the customer base. Develop and implement new business strategies.
  • Sales: Achieve personal sales targets and contribute to overall sales goals. Grow existing accounts and identify upselling opportunities.
  • Technical Knowledge: Understand and keep up to date in the field of Information & Cyber Security. Hold or be willing to achieve industry Cyber Certifications.
  • Vendor and Product Onboarding: Onboard new vendors and integrate new products. Ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Strategic Contribution: Contribute to business strategy development and execution. Drive personal and team objectives aligned with company goals.
  • Team Management: Manage a small team, providing leadership and guidance. Foster a collaborative, high-performance environment.
  • Training and Development: Conduct needs assessments to understand client requirements. Design and architect complex learning solutions.
  • Public Speaking and Presentations: Deliver keynote speeches and presentations at conferences. Represent Nemstar at various forums.
  • Sales Process Improvement: Continuously improve the sales process. Implement best practices and innovative approaches.
  • CRM Management: Own and manage the CRM system. Utilise CRM data to drive sales strategies.

Required Experience:

  • 5+ years in business development/sales roles or good sales experience (at least 2 years) and a strong background in Information Security (at least 3 years).

  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous in managing details, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness in all tasks and documentation.

  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to think critically and strategically, identifying opportunities for growth and developing long-term plans to achieve business objectives.

Compensation and Benefits:
Base salary range is £32,500 to £40,000 with an additional £24,000 in quarterly and annual bonuses. For exceptional annual performance, an additional 4% of company turnover is uncapped.
