My client is a nonprofit organisation dedicated to improving the lives of children and families through various programs and services. They provide safe, supportive, and educational environments that promote children's well-being, and they are now seeking a Business Systems Analyst to help streamline our operations and enhance our technology systems.

The Business Systems Analyst will improve our business processes and information systems. This role involves analysing, documenting, and recommending solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Ideal for someone passionate about using technical expertise to create positive impacts in the childcare and nonprofit sectors.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Applications:
    Gather requirements, analyse systems, develop specifications, and document processes.
  • System Design and Implementation:
    Design solutions, oversee implementations, and ensure smooth transitions.
  • Data Management and Reporting:
    Manage data, generate reports, and implement self-service reporting tools.
  • Training and Support:
    Train staff on new systems and provide technical support.
  • Project Management:
    Lead IT projects, ensure deadlines and budgets are met, and report progress.
  • Compliance and Information Security:
    Ensure systems adhere to data privacy regulations and security standards.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • HND/Degree in Business/IT or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or in applications support.
  • Strong understanding of business processes and experience with CRM, ERP, or case management software.
  • Knowledge of data analytics, reporting, and dashboarding tools.
  • Excellent communication skills for working with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience in project management, ideally using agile methodologies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Passion for supporting children's well-being and working in the nonprofit sector.

Desirable:

  • Experience with cloud-based solutions.
  • Familiarity with grant/membership management and donor tracking systems.
  • Knowledge of current trends in nonprofit technology and software.
