DevOps Engineer

MCS Group is working with one of their long-standing clients in their search for a talented DevOps Engineer as they enter into a period of expansion. With 2025 shaping up to be a year of significant growth for the business (off the back of new product launches), the DevOps Engineer will essentially act as their first hire in this space as the engineering teams begins to grow and scale. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced DevOps engineer who has experience of working across multiple cloud platforms (GCP, AWS OR Azure – with a strong preference for candidates with exposure to Google Cloud Platform) who is seeking more responsibility and the chance to shape the DevOps culture and strategy of a high-growth scale up.

This is a hands-on role, but may afford the opportunity to build out your own team in the future. On top of working in a really interesting space (this company are pushing the boundaries when it comes to AI and Generative AI specifically), you’ll be able to work in a truly flexible organisation which offers equity and one of the best annual leave allowances from any private sector company in the UK.

The Role

• The DevOps Engineer will get involved with and over time have ownership of the following:
• Cloud Infrastructure Management
• CI/CD Pipeline Development
• Automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Cloud Monitoring and Optimisation
• Mentorship and Leadership

Salary

Up to £90,000 with a package which includes equity, bonus and 50+ days total annual leave.
