My Client based BT15 area of Belfast require a Medical Receptionist/Administrator to join their team on a part time basis. The post will be on a temporary basis with the view to becoming permanent.

Duties:

  • Meet & greet all patients to the front desk
  • Answer all telephone calls
  • Answer repeat prescription line
  • General Administration (filing; post; scanning etc.)
  • Although during the working day any of these areas may interchange according to the needs of the practice and patients and other duties may be added as required
  • Duties will be allocated depending on the experience of the candidate and the needs of the practice and may centre around the telephone position
  • A detailed job description is also available

Essential Criteria:

  • Proven experience in a similar role
  • 4 GCSE’s @ grade A – C inc English & Maths or equivalent
  • Fully computer literate
  • Evidence of working in a team & on own initiative
  • Excellent communication & organisational skills
  • Experience of complaint handling & resolution
  • Experience in a medical environment (GP surgery/ Chemist) advantageous


28 hrs per week Mon, Tues, Thurs & Fri 8am - 4pm or 8.30am - 4.30pm

£11.75 per hour
