HR Officer - Antrim - Permanent

At the heart of their success lies a commitment to their people. As HR Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the development, engagement, and wellbeing of staff while driving the organisation’s continued growth. Key responsibilities will include:

HR Administration

  • Prepare and manage HR documentation, including contracts and correspondence
  • Maintain accurate employee records (e.g., annual leave, sickness, Right to Work checks)
  • Ensure employee files are complete and compliant with company policies
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  • Coordinate training programs, liaising with providers and maintaining certification records
  • Create and maintain reports and analytics for management

Recruitment and Onboarding

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from job advertising to onboarding
  • Draft offer letters, contracts, and ensure references and Right to Work checks are completed
  • Assist with new employee induction programmes

Employee Relations

  • Advise and support managers on HR policies and procedures
  • Address employee concerns, mediate conflicts, and promote a positive workplace culture
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives, including forums and feedback programmes

Compliance and Regulations

  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies
  • Maintain Right to Work documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory changes
  • Complete Fair Employment and Article 55 monitoring returns

Criteria:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A strong understanding of Employment Law and HR best practices.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organisational skills to manage competing priorities and tight deadlines.
