At the heart of their success lies a commitment to their people. As HR Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the development, engagement, and wellbeing of staff while driving the organisation’s continued growth. Key responsibilities will include:
HR Administration
- Prepare and manage HR documentation, including contracts and correspondence
- Maintain accurate employee records (e.g., annual leave, sickness, Right to Work checks)
- Ensure employee files are complete and compliant with company policies
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Coordinate training programs, liaising with providers and maintaining certification records
- Create and maintain reports and analytics for management
Recruitment and Onboarding
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from job advertising to onboarding
- Draft offer letters, contracts, and ensure references and Right to Work checks are completed
- Assist with new employee induction programmes
Employee Relations
- Advise and support managers on HR policies and procedures
- Address employee concerns, mediate conflicts, and promote a positive workplace culture
- Drive employee engagement initiatives, including forums and feedback programmes
Compliance and Regulations
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies
- Maintain Right to Work documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory changes
- Complete Fair Employment and Article 55 monitoring returns
Criteria:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A strong understanding of Employment Law and HR best practices.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organisational skills to manage competing priorities and tight deadlines.
