As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of various mechanical systems. From planned preventative maintenance to diagnosing faults, this role offers a dynamic and rewarding environment to apply your expertise.

What’s in it for you:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform scheduled maintenance tasks in line with the asset plan.
  • Identify, diagnose, and resolve mechanical and electrical faults.
  • Manage maintenance tasks to ensure minimal disruption to operations.
  • Conduct thorough site audits and relay effective solutions to clients.
  • Follow established safety procedures, including risk assessments and method statements.
  • Maintain precise and up-to-date records through CAFM systems and site logbooks.
  • Submit detailed timesheets, tracking time and material usage accurately.
  • Respond swiftly to maintenance requests, highlighting and addressing defects or additional work requirements.
  • Uphold professional standards, maintaining a clean and orderly work area while representing the team.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a mechanical maintenance role.
  • Recognised qualifications in the mechanical field.
  • Strong technical skills with a problem-solving mindset.
  • A proactive, customer-focused approach with excellent communication abilities.
  • A full and clean driving license.

Desirable (But not essential):

  • Experience working with industrial steam boilers.
  • Relevant boiler certification (e.g., BOAS).
  • Domestic or industrial gas qualifications.
