Salary: £60,000 - £75,000 per annum (pro rata)
Contract: Interim, 3–6 months

Are you an experienced Procurement Specialist with a proven track record in managing large-scale contracts? Do you thrive in dynamic environments and enjoy working closely with operations and planning teams to drive results?
My client is seeking a Procurement Specialist to join their team on an interim basis. This role is focused on managing high-value procurement projects, particularly within the building trade and electrical goods sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead procurement activities for large-scale contracts, ensuring optimal value and quality.
• Collaborate closely with operations and planning teams to align procurement strategies with project goals.
• Source and negotiate with suppliers to achieve cost efficiency while maintaining high standards.
• Monitor contract performance and address any issues proactively.
• Provide expert advice on procurement processes and compliance.

About You:

• Strong experience in procurement, specifically in large contracts within the building trade or electrical goods sectors.
• Excellent negotiation and supplier management skills.
• Ability to liaise effectively with cross-functional teams, including operations and planning.
• Proven ability to deliver results in fast-paced environments.
• Immediate availability or ability to start at short notice.
