The CSR Group are currently recruiting for a Graduate Project Manager. Our client is a specialist in the flood defence industry; they design, source, install and maintain bespoke and innovative property flood resilience solutions. They cater to both domestic and commercial clients, including the EA, local authorities, LLFAs, main contractors, housing associations, communities and individual homeowners, and businesses.
As a Graduate Project Manager you will come prepared for your new role having qualified with a relevant construction related degree, Building Surveying, Planning or similar and have an interest in impacting the growing number of homes affected be rising waters and flood damage.
This role, based in Bangor, comes with full training and will include elements of travel, approx. 2 to 3 days a week every 2nd or 3rd week.
Hybrid working may be available.
Graduate packages between £24 -27.5k with a pay rise once probation has been completed.
Core duties will include:
· Supporting the preparation of surveys, designs and reports
· General administration of team projects
· Supporting senior leads with the delivery of complex project
· Attending meetings/ presentations where appropriate
· Supporting / undertaking on-site or other survey work
· Developing client relationships
· Checking documents, reports etc
· Working with the Surveying team to inspect and provide advice on the design, construction, maintenance, repair, and refurbishment of all types of buildings and sites.
· To prepare reports, schedules of work and works specifications.
Essential Criteria
· Qualification: BSc (or better/equivalent) – Preferably in a Construction related field
· Experience of working to deadlines
· The ability to think methodically
· Creative problem-solving skills
· Excellent verbal and written communication skill
· Full clean UK driving licence (and old enough to be on our fleet insurance to hire a car, i.e. over 21)
Desirable Criteria
· Experience and working knowledge of surveying / architectural & planning practices
· Experience and understanding of CDM Regs 2015
· Health and Safety knowledge
