The Role
As a Junior Interior
Designer, you will play a key supporting role within our client’s design team,
collaborating closely with Senior Designers on a variety of commercial design
projects.
Specifically, you will
assist with creative tasks, assist in developing furniture specifications,
pitch ideas, and manage smaller, ongoing projects independently. Working
alongside Senior Designers, you will be entrusted with tasks to streamline
workflows and support the team’s overall goals.
Additionally, you will:
- Assist in the
development and presentation of designs to clients
- Work across multiple
projects, managing expectations and meeting deadlines
- Visit client sites to
gain a hands-on understanding of project requirements
About You
To be considered as a Junior
Interior Designer, you will need:
- Knowledge of typical
design software packages, such as CAD, TrueViewer, and Autodesk
- The ability to multitask
and work on multiple projects effectively
- Strong communication
skills to collaborate with clients and team members
- The ability to work
quickly and efficiently to meet deadlines
- Flexibility to travel to
client sites
- A full valid driving
licence
Experience and knowledge
of best practices in the construction/fit-out sector would be beneficial to
your application but is not essential. Experience presenting designs and
pitching with confidence would be equally advantageous.
