VANRATH are delighted to be assisting a prestigious Food based FMCG Manufacturing Company in NI and Ireland with the recruitment of a Development Technologist. Permanent position - Flexible Working Available - Monday - Friday

Hybrid working role - office is based in Enniskillen.

Salary

Fully Negotiable (up to £50,000) + Fantastic Benefits Package

Job Purpose

This role is a key member within the product development team, driving towards a successful concept to launch process for all NPD & EPD products.

Working closely with functional business unit / production site team members to develop products in line with manufacturing capability.

To ensure success in this role, you will have an understanding of the new product development process, with a keen eye for detail and following process to deliver successful launches.

* Development of day-to-day product development of NPD & EPD activity.

* Ensure products are developed in line with commercial, nutritional & operational targets.

* Generation of customer samples required for product submissions and customer presentations.

* Project management through the stage & gate process as required, critical path management of projects

* Generation of all required paperwork and documentation, in line with stage & gate and customer submission process.

* Support the product development & innovation pipeline that is commercially viable and in line with manufacturing capability.

* Working effectively with other key functions: operations, technical, process development, packaging development across the launch process.

* Supporting role in any customer presentations, as required.

* Facilitate regular project meetings, update stakeholders on progress, and address any issues that arise to keep projects on track

The Ideal Person:

  • Experience in similar role.
  • Strong communication skills, ability to communicate verbally and written.
  • Computer literate with good working knowledge of PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word.
  • Passion for Food
