We are recruiting on behalf of a large corporate firm in Belfast who are primed to grow their corporate services team further with the addition of another experienced M&A solicitor. This is a great opportunity for either a junior corporate solicitor with M&A transactional experience or a NQ solicitor from a top tier commercial law firm, to join a highly regarded team, learning from the best lawyers in the industry. With a healthy work stream and pipeline including major international and global deals, there is demand also for an experienced corporate lawyer offering fantastic exposure to high-calibre cross-jurisdictional work and a premium salary. Your new role

The corporate department handles a full range of corporate M&A and commercial work. The successful candidate (depending on PQE) will assist the senior solicitors in leading negotiations, will develop strong relationships throughout the department and will be expected to attend some business development and networking events from time to time, to further market the business and liaise with clients. You'll engage with a wide array of clients from public and private companies to financial institutions and public bodies. If you are a commercially astute individual with experience in M&A, private equity, and joint ventures we want to hear form you. Experience in ECM is advantageous but not essential.

What can you offer the role?

You will likely have:

• a solicitor qualification with ideally 2+ years post qualified experience but all levels considered;
• experience within a large commercial or corporate practice (ideally but not essential a top tier or regional corporate firm)
• a track record in providing corporate/commercial advice to the highest standard;
• an ability to work off both instructions and independently of your own initiative when required;
• a strong team ethic
