Your new company
An extremely successful and innovative engineering company based in Lisburn who manufacture for a number of industries, including aerospace, medical device and defence. The factory is equipped with the latest world class precision machine tools, metrological equipment and the latest CAM/CAD software suites. Due to new contracts they have a requirement to add CNC Machinists to the team.

Your new role
You will be required to set up and operate 3 & 5 Axis machine tools, DMG Mori, Hermle and Doosan with Heidenhain and Fanuc controls. Prove out new programs, build up new tools as per job tooling lists. Dimensionally check components using various hand held instruments such as verniers, bore mics, Micrometers and gauges etc. Read and interpret engineering drawings, understanding tolerances and the required checks to be carried out. 4 day week - Mon - Thurs

What you'll need to succeed
Ideally you will have previous experience as a CNC machinist or setter operator. Various levels of experience considered as there are a range of roles available, 1 year plus preferable. Ability to set up and prove out a program and carry out basic dimensional checks is essential. Experience of using handheld inspection tools and demonstrate competent use of these and recording the results.

What you'll get in return
Rates are £15.00 - £18.00 per hour depending on experience. Time and half overtime.
4 day week, Monday to Friday, overtime available on Fridays and weekends if desired. Aviva Private Healthcare policy from end of the first month onwards. Pension
