This is a 6 months fixed-term contract (FTC), working 25 hours per week.

We have exciting opportunities to join our well-established and growing Day Center Service as a Support Worker in Carrickfergus, Northern Ireland

Our Service runs from Monday - Friday so you would not be required to work weekends, which is great for someone looking for work life balance within the care sector.

You will be supporting individuals who have a range of complex needs, including sensory loss and learning disabilities. Our residents to do the activities they enjoy; this might include sports, acting, trips to the theatre, cooking, or supporting someone to attend social events. Helping to take part in a wide range of special interests and activities that support their health and wellbeing. Within the service there are 4 weeks of fixed leave to allow for center closures. (1 week Easter, 1 week July and 2 weeks Christmas and New Year period)

  • Everyday tasks like cooking and cleaning.
