Audit Senior

Hays are looking for an experienced Audit senior to join our client's team in Belfast. As an Audit Senior within a top tier firm you will be responsible for leading audit engagements and managing a team of auditors. You will be expected to provide high-quality audit services to our clients and ensure that all audit work is completed in accordance with the relevant professional standards.
Your new role

• Lead audit engagements and manage a team of auditors.
• Plan and execute audit work in accordance with the relevant professional standards.
• Review audit work performed by junior team members.
• Communicate audit findings to clients and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Keep up-to-date with changes in accounting and auditing standards.

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• Professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CPA).
• At least 3 years of experience in external audit.
• Strong knowledge of accounting and auditing standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
