Hays are delighted to be working with a well known public sector organisation to recruit for a Finance Systems Analyst for an ongoing temporary role.

Your new role

• To assist in the support of the integrated financial management system and ancillary systems
• To manage a helpdesk and ensure issues with Finance Systems are resolved.
• To assist in the development of reports and dashboards
• To assist in the review, analysis, development and implementation of new systems and processes within the Finance Division.
• To assist with testing of fixes and changes to Finance systems

What you'll need to succeed
Applicants must have: -A relevant qualification at A-level or above (i.e.

ICT, Accounting, etc.)Exceptionally, candidates not holding the above level of qualifications but with3 years’ relevant experience may also be considered.Essential: Candidates must demonstrate practical experience within the last three years in two or more of the following areas: -

• IT systems support and interfacing.
• Managing a systems helpdesk and dealing with customers.
• Experience using a financial system including General Ledger, Accounts Payable. Accounts receivable and/or Stock modules
• Involvement in implementing change as part of a Project Team.
• Involvement in identifying new, more efficient way of working (e.g. process improvement)
• Experience working in a busy transaction-processing environment using a software package.
