Role Overview:
As a Business Development Executive, you will play a pivotal role in driving our business forward. This position involves generating new leads, nurturing relationships with existing clients, and identifying opportunities for growth in our services. You’ll work closely with a dedicated team, ensuring a seamless client experience and contributing to the ongoing success of our business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation: Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities in the food, feed, and related sectors in Ireland and Northern Ireland.
- Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring their needs are met and identifying opportunities for further collaboration.
- Client Engagement: Present our testing services to prospective clients, tailoring solutions to meet their specific requirements.
- Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging markets, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with our technical and operational teams to ensure a smooth onboarding process and outstanding service delivery.
- Performance Targets: Meet and exceed sales and revenue targets through strategic planning and consistent follow-up. Reporting monthly to the Board.
About The Role
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience [minimum 2 years] in business development, sales, or account management, preferably within the food, feed, or laboratory testing sectors.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities, with a focus on meeting deadlines and achieving targets.
- Self-motivated and proactive, with a problem-solving mindset.
- A knowledge or background in Science is an advantage but not essential; training will be provided.
- A team player who thrives in a collaborative and supportive environment.
