MCS Group are delighted to be working with a Large Public Sector Client based in County. Fermanagh in adding a Senior Engineer to their growing team.
The Role:
- Undertake surveys, inspections, studies, and evaluations and write associated reports.
- Prepare feasibility studies, designs, drawings, tenders, and contract documents.
- Contribute to the management and monitoring of projects within budget, helping to ensure they meet deadlines and pre-determined quality standard.
- Liaise with organisations environment officers and external authorities to ensure that environmental requirements and best practice are agreed and implemented.
- Understand health, safety and welfare legislation and best practice relevant to construction works and ensure that all activities for which you are responsible are compliant.
The Person:
- A degree (2.2 or above) in Civil or Structural Engineering which qualifies for full chartered membership of the Institution of Civil Engineers or Engineers Ireland.
- A minimum of one year’s experience in a design office environment.
- A valid Driving licence and access to a form of transport which will permit travel throughout Ireland.
- Be computer literate and possess competence in the use of Microsoft Office and ‘Autocad’ and IT based surveying equipment.
