The successful candidate will have excellent communication and organisational skills, the ability to work on their own initiative and in a team environment and maintain confidentiality in all aspects of the post. Candidates will hold 5 GCSE’s (Grade A to C inc. English & Maths or an equivalent qualification) have at least 1 years’ experience in a reception / customer care role preferably in a medical environment and experience of administrative tasks and be fully computer literate.
Duties include:
Acting as a first point of contact for patients and visitors, handling patient requests and queries in person, by telephone and e-mail, liaising with external agencies & the wider healthcare team, general administrative duties. This is a busy and varied post in a supportive team environment and full training for the role will be provided.
