VANRATH are recruiting a Workshop Joiner / Bench Joiner to work on high end fit out projects, based in Antrim, Northern Ireland. 6 month contract initially with great likelihood of going permanent.

Remuneration:
£Competitive Salary DOE + excellent package

Client:
Our client is a leading interior fit-out contractor based in Antrim, Northern Ireland. They carry out a range of fit-out projects across various sectors including luxury residential, commercial, hotels and specialist joinery projects.

Main Responsibilities:

• Production and assembly of wood and metal products
• Ability to interpret and read workshop/design drawings
• Ensure that quality standards are met and maintained.
• Ensure that delivery dates for all items produced are met and maintained.
• Adhere to all relevant environmental and health & safety regulations and procedures
• Any other duties within the Job Holder’s sphere of knowledge, experience or competency as requested.

The Ideal Person:

• Post apprenticeship experience of high quality carpentry and joinery.
• Previous experience within joinery gained within a manufacturing or shop fitting environment
• Ability to interpret and read workshop/design drawings
• Ability to work with minimum instruction in terms of cutting and building up box section components.
• Ability to set up work pieces and tools.
• Process work effectively and produce quality workmanship
• Additional experience relating to site joinery would be an advantage
