We have a fantastic opportunity for you to join our client, based in Larne as a full-time Administration Officer. This is a long-term temporary opportunity.

Our client is Northern Ireland’s Leading Public Sector Employer.

Administrator Pay Rate: £12.59 per hour

Start Date: 3rd January

Administrator hours of work:

  • Post is based on an 8am to 8pm working pattern Monday - Friday. Jobholder will be required to work a variety of patterns between 8am and 8pm.


About the Administrator role:

The staff member will act as the first point of contact for claimants and will be responsible for assisting claimants who need to transact their business face to face. This will include claimant orientation, resolving queries, arranging appointments, undertaking interviews, coaching claimants to become more digitally competent and, where appropriate, input new data and change of circumstances updates.

Full attendance will be required during the first 5 weeks of training and consolidation with no leave permitted.

  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to build rapport with colleagues and customers
  • Ability to work accurately within set deadlines and to achieve targets
  • Basic IT skills / computer literacy with an aptitude for learning new systems
  • Organised with good time management skill
