Hays are representing an award-winning marketing agency to recruit a Social Media Executive in Belfast.

Your new role
As Social Media Executive, you will implement social media marketing for a range of clients and the company, gaining experience in a fast-paced environment. You will support various teams with paid ads, social media management, content creation and digital marketing strategies.You will be responsible for:

• Collaborate with the social media team to plan and implement social media campaigns.
• Supporting the creation and publishing of content on a variety of social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
• Tracking and analysing social media performance metrics using Google Analytics/Hootsuite to report on key metrics and suggest improvements.
• Stay abreast with the latest social trends and updates. Create ideas for content and campaigns that capitalise on current trends.
• Share creative vision by proposing new content ideas, social media strategies, and unique ways to engage our client’s audience
• Be the voice of the brand by monitoring and responding to comments, messages, and mentions, ensuring meaningful interactions with the community.
• Enhance your skills by participating in training and development programs.
• Provide administrative support to the team.

What you'll need to succeed

• Degree in Digital Marketing or a Social Media Apprenticeship with examples of relevant work
• 2+ years of industry experience with relevant work examples
• Relevant industry certifications would be advantageous, particularly Meta Ads
• Passionate about social media and digital marketing.
• Familiarity with major social media platforms. Creative and detail oriented.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Eager to learn and adapt.
• Team player who works well in a collaborative environment.
• Knowledge of Canva
