About the Role

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in developing, implementing, and continuously improving manufacturing processes. Working closely with design engineers, production teams, and quality control, you’ll optimise assembly line operations, ensure high-quality output, and maintain safety compliance. Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and refine manufacturing and assembly processes for maximum efficiency.
  • Develop and optimise assembly line layouts, conducting time and motion studies.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste, enhance productivity, and cut costs.
  • Collaborate with design and quality teams to ensure manufacturability of products.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and implement effective, long-term solutions.
  • Apply lean manufacturing techniques and Six Sigma methodologies to drive improvements.
  • Analyse workflows and recommend upgrades to achieve operational goals.
  • Maintain compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Document processes and create detailed work instructions.

What You’ll Bring

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3–5 years in a manufacturing engineering role, preferably in assembly operations.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in CAD software, process simulation tools, data analysis, and ERP/MRP systems.
  • Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Six Sigma certification is advantageous.
  • Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
