Application Support Analyst

MCS Group is delighted to be working alongside our long standing partner in their search to build out their existing Application Support team. We’re seeking a talented Applications Support Analyst to join this dynamic Belfast office. If you have experience in application support and cloud platforms, we’d love to hear from you!

What You’ll Do:

• Install, configure, and manage applications on Windows Server OS.
• Develop and evaluate new software solutions.
• Manage and optimize MS SQL databases and replication.
• Plan and deploy updates using change and release processes.
• Automate tasks with PowerShell, Bash, or SQL scripting.
• Leverage cloud platforms like Azure or AWS.
• Use monitoring tools (e.g., ELK) to ensure reliability.
• Provide clear technical documentation and communication.

What You’ll Bring:

• 2-3 years’ IT experience, including 1 year in a 3rd-line support role.
• Expertise in application support and cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of IT infrastructure in Microsoft environments.
• Professional services sector experience is a bonus.
