IT Analyst

Energis is seeking a skilled IT Analyst to join their busy manufacturing client in North Down.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a strong understanding of various IT tools and technologies. The IT Analyst will work closely with users to analyse issues and implement effective solutions, contributing to the overall efficiency of the organisation.

Duties

• Provide 2nd line technical support through the help desk, addressing user inquiries and resolving issues related to software and hardware.
• Analyse system performance and troubleshoot problems
• Collaborate with other IT team members to implement upgrades and enhancements to existing systems.
• Document processes, procedures, and solutions for future reference.
• Conduct system audits to identify areas for improvement.

Experience

• Proven experience in a 2nd line technical support role or similar position.
• Experience with troubleshooting techniques and tools is essential.
• Knowledge of ITSM frameworks
• Experience supporting global users
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to think critically when resolving issues.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling effective interaction with users at all levels.

Salary is in the region of £40k dependant upon experience.
