- THE ROLE -
The post holder will act as the key link in the relationship between the Faculties/Departments and the services provided by the other seven sections in the People and Culture Directorate. They will ‘own’ the relationship with the Faculty and Departments and will be seen by the leadership teams in the Faculty and Departments as a ‘trusted specialist advisor’. They will identify people issues in the Faculty and Departments and blend a solution, brokering and sponsoring the services of the other seven sections in the People and Culture Directorate.
- ABOUT YOU -
The postholder will be required to be:
- Hold a degree and have membership of CIPD at Associate level (or above) or
- Have membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (Membership at MCIPD level or higher).
- Possess significant experience in a HR Business Partner or HR Advisor or similar role in a large and complex organisation.
- Have experience in a role which includes responsibility for at least two of the following:
- Aligning HR support to the business priorities of client departments.
- Developing a deep understanding of the business priorities of client departments.
- Blending HR solutions to address complex issues.
- Dealing with particularly challenging people management issues.
