Accounts Payable Assistant – Newtownards
Temporary (10-12 weeks) | Full-Time | Site-based
£12.50 - £14.50 per hour (dependent on experience)
REED Accountancy is delighted to be partnered with our client, a successful company in Newtownards, in the appointment of a full-time Accounts Payable Assistant to join their dynamic team on a temporary (10-12 week) basis.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Organising and recording supplier invoices and credit notes.
- Processing high volume invoices/supplier payments
- Resolving customer/ supplier queries via email and phone.
- Matching invoices with approved purchase orders.
- Collaborating with departments/management outside of finance
- Ad hoc accounts administrative tasks as and when required.
The successful candidate will meet the following criteria:
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar accounts’ role using the purchase ledger.
- Previous experience operating an accounting software.
- Proficient in use of Microsoft Office to include Excel
